Description

Duodenal obstruction is a blockage of the duodenum, the first part of the small intestine. It can be caused by a variety of conditions, including tumors, hernias, and scar tissue. Symptoms of duodenal obstruction include abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and bloating. Treatment depends on the underlying cause and may include medications, surgery, or a combination of both.
