Intervertebral disc displacement NOS (not otherwise specified) is a condition in which the intervertebral disc, which is the cushion between two vertebrae, is displaced from its normal position. This can cause pain, stiffness, and other symptoms. It can be caused by trauma, degenerative changes, or other conditions. Treatment may include physical therapy, medications, or surgery.
