Post-COVID condition is a term used to describe the long-term effects of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) on individuals who have been infected. These effects can range from mild to severe and can include physical, mental, and emotional symptoms. Common physical symptoms include fatigue, shortness of breath, and joint pain. Mental and emotional symptoms can include anxiety, depression, and difficulty concentrating. Post-COVID condition can also lead to long-term health complications, such as heart and lung damage, as well as an increased risk of stroke and other cardiovascular diseases.
