Hyponatremia is a medical term used to describe a condition in which the sodium levels in the blood are abnormally low. It is a general term used to describe hyponatremia that does not fit into any of the other specific categories. It is usually caused by an underlying medical condition, such as kidney or liver disease, or by certain medications.

Symptoms of hyponatremia NOS can include confusion, fatigue, nausea, muscle cramps, and seizures.
