Description

M-Dinitrobenzene is an organic compound that is used as an intermediate in the production of dyes, explosives, and other chemicals. It is a colorless to pale yellow crystalline solid with a strong odor. It is highly flammable and can explode when exposed to heat or flame.

M-Dinitrobenzene is toxic and can cause irritation to the eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Inhalation of the substance can cause coughing, chest tightness, and difficulty breathing. Ingestion of the substance can cause nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Long-term exposure to m-dinitrobenzene can cause liver and kidney damage.
