Aminothiazole is an organic compound that is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and other organic compounds. It is a colorless solid that is soluble in water and alcohol. It is also used as a corrosion inhibitor in metalworking fluids.

Toxic effects of aminothiazole include irritation of the skin, eyes, and respiratory tract. Inhalation of the compound can cause dizziness, headache, nausea, and vomiting. Prolonged exposure can lead to liver and kidney damage.
