Epirubicin is an anthracycline chemotherapy drug used to treat a variety of cancers, including breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and stomach cancer. It works by interfering with the growth of cancer cells, which eventually leads to their death.
Common side effects of epirubicin include nausea, vomiting, hair loss, mouth sores, and fatigue. Other more serious side effects include anemia, low white blood cell count, and heart damage.
