Description

Acetaminophen is an over-the-counter pain reliever and fever reducer. It is used to treat mild to moderate pain and fever. It is also used to treat headaches, muscle aches, arthritis, backache, toothaches, colds, and fevers. Acetaminophen is generally considered safe when taken as directed, but it can cause serious side effects if taken in large doses or if taken for long periods of time. Common side effects of acetaminophen include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, sweating, and dizziness.
