Description

Floxuridine is an antineoplastic drug used to treat certain types of cancer, such as liver cancer, colorectal cancer, and pancreatic cancer. It works by interfering with the growth of cancer cells. Floxuridine is administered intravenously or intra-arterially.

Common side effects of floxuridine include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, hair loss, and fatigue. Other more serious side effects may include liver damage, bone marrow suppression, and allergic reactions.
