Description

Factor VIII is a protein that is essential for normal blood clotting. It is also known as antihemophilic factor (AHF). Factor VIII deficiency is a rare inherited bleeding disorder in which the body does not produce enough of this protein. This can lead to excessive bleeding, even from minor cuts or injuries.
