Silver toxicity is a condition caused by the accumulation of silver in the body. It can occur when silver is ingested, inhaled, or absorbed through the skin. Symptoms of silver toxicity include skin discoloration, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Long-term exposure to silver can lead to kidney and liver damage, neurological problems, and even death. Treatment for silver toxicity includes chelation therapy, which involves the use of medications to remove the silver from the body.
